If you want to push yourself to the next stage in fitness and well-being, you’re going to want to involve some level of physical fitness in your weekly schedule. But that doesn’t mean you have to find and join a gym in order to access their exotic and intimidated machines and weight benches. You can do pretty much everything you need all on your own, and without having to figure out how you’re going to find two hours to do it.
Bodyweight exercises are quick, relatively simple to do, and you’ll certainly feel it. Keep in mind, though, that bodyweight exercises are not as effective as lifting heavy stuff, when it comes to building muscle, but they are definitely useful, and lots of people prefer them.
So here is a list of some bodyweight exercises:
- Chest and arms
- Plank to push up
- Spiderman push up
- Side to side push up
- Dips
- Burpees
- Legs
- Squats
- Squat kicks
- Firecrackers
- Speed skaters
- Lunges
- Back
- Pull ups
- Cardio
- Mountain climbers
- Inch worms (stationary)
If you’re not sure what one of these exercises is supposed to look like, leave me a comment and I’ll post a video of it.
